It is mandatory to have a bank account in China, either at ICBC, Bank of China, or another bank in cooperation with the university.

Requirements for opening a bank account in China:

• Admission Notice
• Letter of introduction from the university
• Introduction letter from the police (FC)
• JW 202 form
• An initial balance of around 100-500 RMB is required

The process takes approximately one week.
